General Member Meetings

General member meetings are a great place to learn about upcoming trips and classes, meet members and get more involved in our adventurous organization! Each meeting includes updates on trips and activities and awards for members who completed SOLAR classes. Members have the opportunity to sign up for classes, trips and activities. The meeting ends with a special program, such as a speaker from a community organization, a slide show or an interactive program like a drum circle or massage tips for hikers.

Non-members are welcome to attend these meetings to learn more about SOLAR. There is no charge to attend monthly meetings. Please keep in mind that you must be a paid member to participate in SOLAR-sponsored trips and classes.

WHEN:

Member meetings are on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm (unless otherwise noted on the calendar).

WHERE:

Meetings are held at Colony Hall (21780 Evergreen) in Southfield, between 8 Mile and 9 Mile roads. Click here for a map.
